MARPORT OPENS NEW FACILITY IN PETERHEAD, UNITED KINGDOM

Marport is excited to announce the opening of its new Marport UK offices located in Peterhead, United Kingdom. The company will distribute Marport’s full product line of catch control and net monitoring products.

General Manager George Youngson, who joined the company in February 2022, will head the Marport UK office.

George has over 30 years fisheries experience in the commercial fishing industry specializing in net monitoring and catch control systems.

He spent six years as a commercial fisherman (before studying in electronics, electrical instrumentation & control engineering).
